Pediatrician
Dr. Kyle T. Bodley, DO, FAAP, is a compassionate and dedicated pediatrician at Children’s Clinic of Billings, where he has been caring for children and partnering with families since 2011. He is board certified in pediatrics and completed his medical training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by his pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

From the start of his career, Dr. Bodley knew pediatrics was where his heart belonged. He was drawn to the specialty because it gives him the incredible opportunity to watch children grow, learn and thrive and to build long-lasting relationships with the families he serves. He loves being part of milestones big and small — from a newborn’s first check-up through the exciting (and sometimes challenging) teenage years — and helping guide both kids and parents with thoughtful, individualized care.
Patients and families often describe Dr. Bodley as caring, trustworthy, funny and easy-going. His relaxed style instantly puts kids at ease, and his warm sense of humor helps make appointments comfortable and even fun. Dr. Bodley believes that strong relationships with families are the foundation of excellent pediatric care, and he takes time to listen, answer questions, and make sure families feel supported and heard.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Bodley is a devoted husband and father who loves being active with his family. He enjoys skiing the slopes, hiking scenic trails, boating, and hitting the golf course — all while cheering on his three boys as they compete in an array of sports. You’ll often find him on the sidelines, enthusiastically supporting his boys and attempting (with good humor) to refrain from coaching.
Dr. Bodley is approachable, community-minded, and genuinely delighted when he sees his patients outside the clinic — whether at school events, playgrounds, or around town. His connection to the Billings community and his commitment to families make him a trusted partner in your child’s health and well-being.

Chelsea Lundgren, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Chelsea Lundgren, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Chelsea R. Lundgren, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Children's Clinic, where she leads the practice's Adolescent Health program. A Pennsylvania native, Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown in 2011, her Associate Degree in Nursing from Mount Aloysius College in 2017, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2022. She brings prior nurse practitioner experience in endocrinology and psychiatry to her current work with teens after joining Children's Clinic in September 2024 to provide comprehensive care primarily to patients ages 12 and up.

Chelsea was drawn to adolescent medicine for a specific reason: teenagers, in her experience, are often thoughtful, inquisitive, and genuinely motivated to better understand their own health and well-being. She loves coming alongside patients during the stage of life when they're starting to take ownership of their wellness, and she brings real energy to helping them ask good questions and make informed decisions.
Patient education and advocacy are at the heart of how Chelsea practices. She works hard to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing whatever's on their mind — without fear of judgment. While Chelsea provides full-scope comprehensive care for adolescents — from sports physicals and acute illness to chronic conditions and the everyday concerns of the teen years — her prior clinical experience in psychiatry is a particular asset given how much of adolescent health involves the mind alongside the body. At the foundation of it all is her belief that strong, trusting relationships are what carry kids successfully into healthy adulthood.
Outside the clinic, Chelsea spends as much time outdoors as she can with her husband and four children exploring Montana together as a family. When she's not outside, you might find her with a book in hand, at her pottery wheel, playing guitar, or rolling out a yoga mat.
Whether a family is bringing in a 12-year-old for a first adolescent visit or working through more complex teen health questions, Chelsea is the kind of provider who makes those visits feel safe and worthwhile — for the patient and the parent. Her steady, patient-centered approach makes her a trusted partner for families navigating these formative years.

nurse Practitioner
Megan M. Poser, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Children's Clinic of Billings, where she has been caring for children and partnering with families since May 2022. A Billings native, Megan earned her nursing degree from Montana State University and worked as a nurse on the pediatric floor and in the pediatric intensive care unit at St. Vincent Healthcare. She then earned her nurse practitioner degree from Gonzaga University and has worked in outpatient pediatrics since 2016. Megan is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and sees patients across the full pediatric age range — from newborns through young adults.

Megan's path into healthcare started early. She grew up watching her mother work as a nurse practitioner, and her own pull toward the field began when she was young. She babysat throughout childhood and nannied her way through college, and over those years she came to recognize what would become the core of her career: being around children, she'll tell you, is pure joy.
What Megan loves most about her work is caring for the family as a whole. She takes time to understand not just a child's health needs but the family they're growing up in — getting to know parents and siblings, running into families out in the community, and following children from infancy through their young adult years. Many of the patients she sees today she has watched grow up, and those long-term relationships are the part of her practice she values most.
Clinically, Megan is drawn to the challenge of caring for children with complex needs — whether that's medical complexity, mental health concerns, or chronic conditions like obesity. Helping a child reach their full potential, especially when the path there is complicated, is some of the most rewarding work she does.
Outside the clinic, Megan is mom to her own two growing kids — most recently cheering on her daughter at swim meets, where her daughter has found a real passion this year. The rest of her family time is spent at parks, libraries, and just about anywhere outdoors: running, hiking, biking, boating, and exploring Montana. Whether at home or in the exam room, Megan brings the same steady warmth to every interaction — making her a trusted partner for the families who have chosen her.

Pediatrician
Pediatrician
Dr. Kathleen M. Yapuncich, MD, FAAP — known to families simply as "Dr. Kate" (since her last name can be a tongue-twister) — is a seasoned pediatrician at Children's Clinic, bringing over two decades of experience to the care of kids and teens. She is board certified in pediatrics, earned her medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1997, and completed her pediatric residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in 2000. After serving communities in Wyoming and Minnesota for years, Dr. Kate joined Children's Clinic in 2018 and now sees patients of all ages — from newborns through teens — at both the West End and downtown locations in Billings, Montana.

What drew Dr. Kate to pediatrics has never wavered: she believes there's no field in medicine where preventive care makes a greater difference, and she finds parents to be the most engaged partners she could ask for in caring for kids. Over the years, the long relationships she's built with families — watching them grow in size and number across generations — have become one of the most rewarding parts of her practice.
Dr. Kate aims to be respectful of families' time and perspective, and she takes a practical, evidence-based approach to care — she doesn't intervene medically unless it's clearly indicated, and she works alongside parents to reach decisions together. Having spent much of her earlier career in large medical centers, she also brings deep experience recognizing rare and unusual conditions, helping families get to the right specialists efficiently when something beyond routine care is needed.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kate’s other vocation is ranching, where she and her family focus on sustainable practices and conservation. She has a deep love of being involved in things from the ground up and describes herself as solar-powered — she needs time outside and is often up hours before her first clinic appointment to feed and care for livestock on the property she shares with her husband. She's also interested in alternative energy and old-time music. Together, she and her husband are parents to four children and proud grandparents to nine grandchildren.
After decades in practice, Dr. Kate brings the kind of perspective only experience can earn — and the warmth of a provider who's still genuinely happy to see any kid, any time. Families who've been with her for years know her as a steady, trusted partner in their children's health, and that's exactly how she likes it.

Pediatrician
Board-certified pediatrician Shannon S. Yonts, MD, FAAP, has been a part of the Children's Clinic of Billings team since 2012, providing comprehensive care to kids of all ages throughout the Billings community. A native Montanan who grew up on a farm and ranch near Culbertson, Dr. Yonts earned her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

Dr. Yonts was drawn to pediatrics for the chance to focus on preventive medicine — the opportunity to work alongside families and help children build a healthy foundation for life. She finds genuine joy in the energy kids bring to every encounter, and the long-term relationships she's built with patients and their families have become her favorite part of the work. She commented “It is a privilege to watch children grow and to support families through the many stages of childhood.”
At every visit, Dr. Yonts works hard to truly listen — so that patients and parents leave knowing they were heard, that their concerns matter, and that whatever comes next is something they'll figure out together. Her approach is collaborative and calm, focused on finding the best solution for each child and each family rather than handing down a one-size-fits-all answer.
One of the things Dr. Yonts is most proud of professionally is the Children's Clinic's longstanding partnership with Reach Out and Read and the Billings Public Library — a program she was instrumental in bringing to the practice. Reading plays a foundational role in early childhood development, and she's passionate about encouraging a lifelong love of reading and learning in every child who comes through her door. Through the program, Children's Clinic providers have given out more than 75,000 books to local families and provided a west end location for Billings Public Library to allow library members to pick up books and participate in summer story times.
Outside of work, Dr. Yonts spends most of her time with her family — and especially with her three boys, who in her words "keep life busy and full of joy." She's also an avid reader (both with her boys and on her own) and a runner, though as she'll quickly point out, "not fast — just for fun." Whether at the clinic, on a trail, or with a book in hand, Dr. Yonts brings the same steady warmth and curiosity to every part of her life — exactly what makes her such a trusted partner for the families she serves.
