Our Philosophy on Immunizations

At the Children's Clinic, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care aligned with medical best practices. With this in mind, our practice's policy is to verify and update your child's immunizations at every patient encounter.

We strongly support immunizations for all children and believe that immunizing kids is the most important act we perform as pediatric healthcare providers.

Immuniations for International Travel

While the Children's Clinic stocks and administers all routine childhood immunizations, we do not stock the less common immunizations recommended for international travel. RiverStone Health is our community's expert on travel immunization.

If you plan to travel overseas, contact RiverStone to determine if you and your children can protect yourselves against many serious illnesses by making sure you have the proper immunizations. Give yourself four to six weeks prior to your trip to complete all necessary immunizations.

CDC Guidelines

Every physician and provider at the Children's Clinic follows the CDC guidelines for immunizations. Furthermore, we all make sure to immunize our own children and families.

Not to Immunize

Unfortunately, some parents will decide not to give their child some immunizations, or not at all. Parents refusing to immunize are required to fill out and sign our Decision Not to Immunize My Child form.
